We are seeking for an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead all on-site concrete operations for the Midtown Bus Terminal project in Manhattan, NY. This role plans, coordinates, and supervises concrete work to ensure safety, schedule, budget, quality, and specification compliance. No remote work; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Expected salary: $175,000–$250,000 depending on experience.
How You'll Contribute- Oversee all phases of concrete construction, including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and finishing
- Plan daily and weekly work activities; coordinate labor, equipment, and materials
- Supervise field crews and subcontractors to meet productivity, safety, and quality standards
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and site inspections
- Review and interpret project drawings and specifications for accurate execution
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve field issues and maintain schedule
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates on schedule and productivity
- Ensure proper installation of formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and concrete placement
- Manage quality control and inspection processes
- Maintain site documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, and material tracking
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts
- 7+ years of experience in concrete construction with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems, reinforcement, placement, and finishing techniques
- Experience managing large-scale commercial or civil concrete projects (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
- Proficiency in scheduling and basic construction software tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related degree preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Manhattan, NY (no remote)
- Eligible to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
