We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead commercial interior projects for a well-established general contractor in New York City. This is a hands‑on role, managing projects from start to finish and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations on commercial interior projects across NYC 🛠️
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site trades to keep projects on schedule 👷 ♂️
- Review drawings and specifications to plan work efficiently 📐
- Maintain daily logs, RFIs, change orders, and punch lists 📝
- Ensure all work meets safety, code, and quality standards ✅
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and designers to resolve site issues 🤝
- Monitor progress, schedules, and budgets to keep projects on track 📊
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial interior projects
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and safety regulations ⚠️
- Excellent leadership and communication skills 🗣️
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Experience with construction software like Procore, Bluebeam, or similar is a plus 💻
