Project Safety Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Project Safety Assurance Manager to oversee and ensure safety compliance across all project activities. This role involves developing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, monitoring site practices, and fostering a culture of safety among project teams. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of safety regulations, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing safety in construction or engineering projects.

• Develop, implement, and maintain project safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Provide safety training and guidance to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure consistent communication of safety protocols.
• Support a proactive safety culture across all project levels.

• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure timely reporting to stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.

• Experience in safety management, preferably in construction, transit, or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, local regulations, and industry safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent.
• Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification a plus.
