This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Field Superintendent based in New York, NY. The Field Superintendent will oversee daily onsite construction activities, coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, and ensure projects are completed successfully within time and budget constraints. Additional responsibilities include monitoring work progress, maintaining safety standards, resolving project issues, and communicating updates with project management teams to align with overall goals.
Qualifications- Proven experience in construction management, attention to detail, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, understanding construction documents, and managing project timelines
- Knowledge of quality control, safety compliance, and regulatory requirements within the construction industry
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage teams on‑site
- Proficiency with project management software and tools
- Ability to problem‑solve, adapt to challenges, and maintain project efficiency
- Previous experience in multifamily or mixed‑use construction is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to commute to construction sites within New York City
