The Construction Manager is accountable for the successful execution of all Civil Works activities on assigned projects, including financial control, scheduling (time), Service Provider (SP/ASP) performance, and quality management. This role ensures full compliance with Ericsson standards, customer requirements, and all Federal and Local regulations while driving continuous improvement across site operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and control charges in accordance with approved site design.
- Manage scheduling, cost tracking, and progress reporting.
- Provide accurate and timely status updates to project leadership.
- Write claims, order materials, and manage material returns.
- Reject non-conforming material deliveries and report performance issues.
- Ensure only customer-approved materials are installed.
- Enforce agreed Civil Works guidelines, technical specifications, and schedules.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with civil design plans (RFDS, SOW, NTP).
- Conduct site pre-inspections, verification, and post-construction audits.
- Perform visual quality inspections and daily Civil Works PFA verification.
- Review and approve civil acceptance and close-out documentation.
- Ensure workmanship meets contractual, Ericsson, and customer standards.
- Enforce all Ericsson, Federal, Local, and customer safety guidelines.
- Maintain acceptable working environments and conduct safety inspections.
- Oversee tool condition and general site safety compliance.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and coordinate Service Providers and cross-functional disciplines.
- Attend and lead coordination and progress meetings.
- Drive schedule adherence and troubleshoot site challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Service Providers and suppliers.
- Lead teams with strong focus on quality, accountability, and results.
- Investigate and solve complex site issues requiring advanced analysis.
- Guide and mentor others while driving operational excellence.

Maintain and update construction-specific documentation within Site Handler, including:
- SOW and pre-construction documentation (NTP, RFDS, QA standards, safety guidance)
- NTP verification
- RFDS review and change management
- Civil acceptance documentation review and approval
- Daily progress verification
- Close-out documentation sign-off
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of civil construction management within telecom or infrastructure environments
- Demonstrated ability to investigate, solve complex problems, and lead improvements
- OSHA 30
- CPR / First Aid
- Ergonomics Training
- All required refresher certifications to maintain compliance
