Project Estimator

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Blauvelt, NY, for a Project Estimator. The Project Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and implementing cost estimates for commercial landscape construction projects. Daily tasks will include reviewing project plans and contracts, collaborating with clients and team members, preparing accurate cost breakdowns, sourcing materials and subcontractors, and ensuring timely delivery of estimates.

The Project Estimator will also contribute to project scheduling and budget management to ensure alignment with company objectives and client expectations.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation and budget preparation.
• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and standard industry practices.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Experience in project management, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Proficiency with relevant software, such as cost estimation tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in landscape construction or a related industry is a plus.
