Civil Sr Estimator

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Senior Estimator based in New York, NY. The Civil Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing comprehensive cost estimates, analyzing project plans, evaluating subcontractor bids, and determining material quantities. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate project scope and budgets, providing detailed reports, and assisting in pre-construction planning.

• Proficiency in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and budgeting
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods
• Knowledge of bidding and procurement processes along with subcontractor evaluation
• Skillful in interpreting technical documents, drawings, and specifications
• Effective communication and teamwork to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Experience with estimation software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with strong analytical thinking
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Previous experience as a Civil Estimator or similar role in construction is highly desirable
