Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York

Seeking a seasoned, hands‑on Senior Construction Project Manager to lead a large new‑build landmark residential project in Brooklyn that is about to break ground. This is a true construction PM role with heavy field presence, direct contractor oversight, and full accountability for schedule, budget, quality, safety, and closeout.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead all phases of delivery: pre‑con, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout
  • Act as the on‑site decision maker — manage GC, major subcontractors, consultants and inspectors
  • Develop and drive master CPM schedules; coordinate trade sequencing and implement recovery plans
  • Own project budget, cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, change order review and financial risk mitigation
  • Review drawings/specs for constructability; manage RFIs, submittals and material logistics
  • Enforce site safety, QA/QC and regulatory compliance; manage permitting and inspections interactions
  • Run OAC and coordination meetings; manage punch lists, turnover and final closeout activities
  • Mentor/oversee PM team members and coordinate closely with superintendents and field staff
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years construction management experience on large‑scale new construction projects (NYC/Brooklyn experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated track record as the lead PM (field‑forward, not owner’s rep) with full project accountability
  • Strong CPM scheduling skills and proficiency with Procore / Primavera / MS Project or similar tools
  • Excellent financial management skills: budgeting, job cost, change order negotiation and forecasting
  • Deep knowledge of construction means & methods, trade sequencing and urban logistics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management; decisive in the field
  • Familiarity with NYC codes, DOB/FDNY/DEP processes preferred
  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience preferred
