Close Out Coordinator Job Description

Ensure start (mobilization) and end (substantial completion) date and key player accuracy in CMiC for all projects. Track construction management guidelines compliance (Open Jobs and Jobs Closed in current year over $100K):
Schedules, Meeting Minutes and QA/QC Plans. Assist with Data and Analytics;
Financial Reconciliation; and reviewing, researching, and resolving all variances between accounting, estimating and job cost modules. Track Punchlist Sign Off. Track Close Out documents distribution (close out from X to Y). Track key subcontractor performance evaluations. Isolate issues from reports and reconciliation and follow up accordingly with the respective departments and team members.

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate or related field of study, and 1 year of experience working as a Construction Superintendent. Experience specified must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: working directly on construction sites, coordinating daily work and operations; collecting and organizing construction project documents, including change orders, final reports, warranties, as‑built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals;

tracking project timelines and budget; scheduling and coordinating final inspections with relevant authorities and stakeholders;
Power BI; leveraging data to produce data and analytics close out reporting for operational teams; interior close out process; leading communications between stakeholders and project managers, clients and subcontractors; coordinating the work of subcontractors and on‑site personnel; financial closing process; identifying financial delays or discrepancies during the closeout phase; and CMiC and Share File.
