Our company, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Estimator. This role is an integral part of our team, responsible for analyzing costs and preparing estimates for various electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent numerical skills, and an analytical mindset. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

• Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for a variety of electrical construction projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, and construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
• Review material and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
• Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical estimating or a related field.
• Proficient in relevant software such as Accubid and other electrical estimating tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction processes.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Ability to read and understand electrical plans and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
