Overview
Job Overview – Industrial Development & Construction Manager. Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus.
Location:
New York, NY.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Hybrid).
Atlantic Group is hiring an Industrial Development & Construction Manager in New York, NY for our client, supporting industrial real estate development and construction projects. In this hybrid role, you will manage the full project lifecycle, including due diligence, entitlements, design, permitting, and construction execution across a growing portfolio. You will partner closely with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to drive industrial development and repositioning projects from concept through completion.
Responsibilities- Development & Construction Oversight: Manage the full project lifecycle, including due diligence, entitlements, design coordination, permitting, and construction for industrial properties.
- Pre-Development & Due Diligence: Lead site feasibility, zoning and entitlement strategies, environmental reviews, and coordination of third-party reports.
- Design & Consultant Management: Manage architects, engineers, and consultants through design development and construction documentation phases.
- Permitting & Regulatory Approvals: Coordinate permitting and approvals with municipalities and governing agencies to support timely project execution.
- Construction & Pipeline Management: Oversee construction schedules, budgets, and quality while supporting a growing pipeline of industrial development and repositioning projects.
- Experience: 3-5 years of construction experience with hands-on pre-development and entitlement expertise within industrial development projects.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong working knowledge of construction management processes, development due diligence, scheduling, budgeting, and consultant coordination. - Industry Knowledge: Proven experience supporting industrial development projects, with exposure to zoning, entitlements, permitting, and repositioning initiatives.
- Background Preference: Experience working with a real estate developer, owner’s representative, or architecture and engineering (A&E) firm strongly preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
