Construction Estimator

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join our fast-paced and collaborative team. This role will be responsible for construction estimating, budgeting, and bidding across a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily located in New York City.

The Estimator will work closely with architects, clients, business development, and operations teams to ensure a clear understanding of project scope, objectives, schedules, and cost requirements. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates.

• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates, budgets, and bids
• Review drawings, specifications, and proposal documents to perform accurate quantity takeoffs
• Develop hard bids and pricing proposals in response to RFPs and bid solicitations
• Obtain and analyze pricing from qualified subcontractors and suppliers
• Collaborate with internal teams to align scope, pricing, and project strategy
• Maintain organized estimating files, cost data, and supporting documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience within a professional construction firm
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Proven ability to read plans and perform comprehensive takeoffs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment

• 100% in-office role (no remote or hybrid options)
• Based in White Plains, NY or New York City
• Projects are primarily located in New York City
