Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Trueline’s client, a growing construction and development firm, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and advance project delivery across multiple phases. This role works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate schedules, teams, subcontractors, documentation, and communication to ensure successful outcomes on time and within budget.
What You’ll Do as the Assistant Project Manager:- Support the planning, logistics, and execution of construction projects from mobilization to close-out.
- Assist in managing construction trades, maintaining schedules, six‑week look‑ahead plans, and disseminating updates to stakeholders.
- Participate in cost control activities including tracking costs, evaluating change orders, and assisting in budget buy‑outs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, plans, specifications, and submittals.
- Help organize and execute project, client, and trade meetings.
- Monitor and support compliance with safety protocols, internal procedures, and quality standards.
- Coordinate deliveries, collect documentation, and support requisition assembly.
- Support the preparation of contracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and quality checklists.
- Assist in assembling close‑out packages including warranties, O and M manuals, and as‑built drawings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture/Engineering, Business Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction project management or related industry experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Experience with or ability to learn Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project, Procore, and document editing tools.
- Prior experience with electronic document control systems like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, or Nitro PDF Editor.
- Experience supporting municipal requirements or client-facing construction coordination.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for quality control and submittal review.
