Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews on utility and site work projects.
• Ensure project timelines and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations, OSHA standards, and safety protocols.
• Train and mentor crew members, ensuring they adhere to safety and productivity expectations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications to guide construction activities.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and material needs.
• Enforce and uphold safety standards, ensuring that all team members follow proper procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have OSHA 30 certification (within the last five years).
• Active NYC DOB 62-Hour SST certification required.
• 4-Hour Confined Space certification required.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Construction Foreman in utility and site work.
• Experience working on prevailing wage projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations, excavation, grading, and underground utilities.
• Ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, project plans, and safety protocols.
