Senior Project Scheduler

Haydan Consultants, Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Scheduler for employment in the New York, NY office, to work on the NYC Borough Based Jail (BBJ) Program. The $16 Billion NYC Borough-Based Jail Program involves procurement, programming, design, and construction of four new borough-based jails. This program is managed by the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC).

Responsibilities:

• Manage schedules for two facility projects.
• Develop, review, and supervise construction schedules for high-rise facilities.
• Conduct regular on-site walk-throughs.
• Communicate schedule details effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare, develop, and analyze resource-loaded schedules using CPM.
• Review schedule logic, sequencing, constraints, float, cost, resources, and earned value.
• Develop "What-If" scenarios, mitigation, and look-ahead schedules.
• Perform delay and schedule impact analyses, including TIA.
• Monitor schedule progress and report to management.
• Participate in meetings with clients, A/E representatives, and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 10-15 years of planning and scheduling experience, with field experience.
• Experience with institutional and high-rise construction, preferably detention facilities.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of CPM, Earned Value Analysis, and TIA.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable and proven track record of scheduling success.

Working Conditions:

• Manage two project site facilities.
• Full-time onsite attendance required.
• Occasional travel to facilities.
