Responsibilities- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and crews on project deliverables.
- Process and manage material deliveries, ensuring materials received are properly inspected for quantity and quality and comply with contract documents.
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor and material contracts.
- Assist in developing and updating the project schedule.
- Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals.
- Maintain comprehensive records of submittals, approvals, and resubmittals, including a file of letters of transmittal with dates of each transaction.
- Participate in the cost control system, analyzing construction costs and contributing to monthly forecasting of revenue and cost accruals.
- Prepare monthly pay estimates and process estimate change orders and requests for information as directed by the Project Manager.
- Follow OHLA USA policies and procedures, including safety policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Heavy civil construction background with 4+ years of field experience.
- Safety-oriented; 10‑hour and 30‑hour OSHA certificates preferred.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong work ethic and team‑builder/player mindset.
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in diverse climates and environments.
- Previous NYC DOT or NYCT experience a plus; bridge/steel/concrete experience strongly preferred.

USD $95,000.00 – $ per year.
