You won’t just compile bids; you will be the driving force in delivering high‑value project wins and securing the firm's major contracts. We are looking for a seasoned professional who excels at managing high‑stakes public and private bidding, balancing hands‑on execution with the strategic development of the internal team.

• Major Project Delivery: Lead the end‑to‑end estimating process for high‑profile ground‑up and renovation projects up to $50M, focusing on Education facilities, Healthcare centers, and Government buildings.
• Pipeline Execution: Directly manage and deliver estimates for the firm's largest repeat‑business accounts, ensuring the successful conversion of a deep, stable backlog into awarded work.
• Strategic Leadership: Act as a key leader within the department, balancing the delivery of complex bids with the mentorship and development of the junior estimating team as the firm continues to scale.

• Proven Success: 10+ years as an Estimator for a General Contractor, with a clear track record in the New York market
• Bidding Fluency: Expert proficiency in multiple bidding and delivery methods, including Competitive Sealed Bids (CSB), Prequalified Lists (PQL), Job Order Contracting (JOC), and CM‑at‑Risk/GMP.
• Public Sector Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the NYC PASSPort system and the nuances of agency‑specific requirements (DDC, NYSCA, and major Healthcare Associations).
• Strategic Execution: A proven ability to navigate the nuances of large‑scale public bidding, managing subcontractor relationships and developing highly accurate, competitive proposals.
• Technology Proficiency: Expert‑level command of modern estimating software, including On‑Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, and digital procurement platforms to ensure maximum accuracy and efficiency.
