Armand Corporation, an award‑winning M/WBE Construction Management firm with over 33 years of industry experience, is seeking a full‑time Project Officer Associate with expertise in all aspects of the management process for general construction projects across NYC. The ideal candidate has either a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college related to construction management, architecture, or engineering or an Associate’s Degree and 2 years of experience in construction inspection and monitoring of construction projects, and resides in the area of New York, NY.

• Assist Project Officers in overseeing work performed across various school projects in New York City.
• Review documents submitted for city‑required building and other permits for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain a database of information, both physically and digitally, ensuring all information is readily available for review and audit.
• Provide support to permit applicants in completing the filing procedure with various city agencies.
• Deliver documents to various city agencies for data entry, review and/or approval.
• May be required to work closely with Plan Examiners in reviewing documents for City Building Code and for guaranteeing compliance.
• Research existing building status from city records at various agencies.
• Perform related tasks.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college related to construction management, architecture or engineering; or an associate’s degree and 2 years of experience in construction management, inspection, and/or monitoring of construction projects.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office, AutoCAD required; additional experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant construction software preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
