Underground Utility Pipe Layer

- Pipe Crew / Pipe Layer should have at least three years’ experience in the installation of water, sanitary sewer lines, force-mains, storm drainage pipe such as PVC, DIP, RCP and HDPE pipe.
- Communicate all daily activities to the Underground Foreman / Superintendent
- Enforce OSHA safety standards on site at all times.
- Must be dependable and willing to work 40-50 hours per week as needed
- Advanced knowledge of the site and utility construction industry, such as site layout, site grading, excavation, above ground/underground utilities, and storm water drainage structures.
- Ability to understand and implement construction documents such as drawings, specifications.
- Manage most efficient use of equipment and company assets
- 3-5 years’ experience laying Pipe
- 3+ years project responsibility in heavy civil construction, underground utility installation for City, County, Private or DOT construction projects
- Experience with Storm drain pipe is a MUST but all additional pipe experience is welcome.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations
- Able to manage, communicate and enforce production goals and schedules with crews
- Knowledgeable of OSHA Safety Regulations
- Must pass a drug screening
- Legally allowed to work in the US and have a valid Driver’s License
- Lift Station Experience is preferred
