Superintendent – Luxury High-Rise Construction
Aventura, FL | $90,000-$120,000 salary
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing South Florida-based general contractor specializing in luxury high‑rise, mixed‑use, and commercial construction. With multiple new towers underway and a strong development pipeline across the region, this company has quickly become one of the most exciting emerging players in the South Florida high‑rise market.
What You’ll Be Doing- Oversee all field operations for high‑rise or large commercial projects.
- Supervise subcontractors, foremen, and crews to maintain efficiency and schedule compliance.
- Coordinate daily work plans, logistics, deliveries, and manpower.
- Manage structural, MEP, façade, and finish trades through project completion.
- Collaborate with PMs and Engineers to align with plans, schedule, and budget.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; lead weekly safety meetings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant jobsite.
- Conduct daily quality inspections and review testing/inspection reports.
- Resolve field discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain three‑week look‑ahead schedules with trade input.
- Identify and mitigate potential delays.
- Lead subcontractor and OAC meetings.
- Provide progress updates and field reports.
- Review drawings, RFIs, and specs for constructability.
- Direct field layout, formwork, crane operations, and logistics.
- Coordinate design resolutions and ensure build accuracy.
- Oversee closeout and punch list completion.
- Represent company in owner and consultant meetings.
- Foster collaboration between field and office teams.
- Mentor junior staff and develop future field leaders.
- 10+ years of experience in field supervision for high‑rise or large‑scale commercial projects.
- Proven leadership on 20+ story concrete structures from ground‑up to completion.
- Deep technical knowledge of structural, MEP, and finishing systems.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, scheduling, and quality control.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project or similar software.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; additional safety credentials preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
