Entry Level Construction Apprentice – Onsite Training

Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is offering an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to begin their career in the construction industry as an Entry Level Construction Apprentice
. This role provides hands-on experience, structured training, and exposure to a variety of construction tasks under the supervision of skilled professionals. It is designed for candidates who are eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in construction.

• Assist senior tradespeople with day-to-day construction activities including site preparation, material handling, and basic tool use.

• Learn to read and interpret construction plans and follow instructions accurately.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

• Operate hand tools and basic machinery after receiving proper training.

• Support in the installation, repair, and maintenance of building components.

• Participate in on-the-job training sessions to develop technical knowledge and practical skills.

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry.

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.

• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices is an advantage.

• No prior experience required – full training will be provided.

• Previous exposure to construction, labor, or hands-on work is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Full-time, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday
