EH- Nanny​/Housekeeper - Chelsea, NYC

Overview

A family of three recently relocated to Chelsea, NY is seeking a live-out nanny/housekeeper to help care for their 2-year-old daughter and assist with their home.

The typical schedule would be 12pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday. Their daughter attends school until mid afternoon, so from 12pm until 3pm the focus would be on housekeeping, the family have a 3-bedroom, 2,000 sq ft apartment. The time thereafter will solely be caring for their daughter.

This role is to start at the end of February/beginning March.

Nanny Responsibilities:

• Collect the child from school
• Organize after school activities and classes when required
• Prepare dinner and snacks for the child
• Ensure the child s safety at all times
• Travel with the family on occasion (1-2 weeks at a time)
• Occasional babysitting

Housekeeping responsibilities:

• General light housekeeping (the family have a separate person come and deep clean the home)
• Daily laundry
• Meal prep for the parents
• Load/empty the dishwasher

• The family speak French in the home, it is not a requirement but would be a plus
• Organize fun activities, and have a playful side
• Looking for longevity with their family

• Excellent communicator
• Should have experience of working with children of this age
• Be available for babysitting
• Plan ahead
• Take the initiative and be proactive

• $35/hr
• 10 days PTO
• 5 sick days
