Child Minding / Nanny, Child Development/Support, Au Pair
Location: New York
Overview
Part time Nanny (Friday through Sunday) required for a lower Manhattan family with four young children (ages 6 and under). Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but you will be responsible for providing care to the children, including tidying, cooking (for the children), help with household cleaning, and family related laundry. This is a fast-paced role; proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and a team oriented mindset while remaining calm and collected is essential in this role.
To be successful you will need solid experience caring for multiple children, excellent attention to detail, and to be a present and engaged caregiver. You should be comfortable with 2-3 children at a time; you will not be required to care for all four children solo. The family values someone who is extremely motivated, warm and upbeat, enjoys being active, and takes initiative with the children and around the house.
This is a live-out position, with flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as well as assist with additional hours if/when needed, including overnights and holidays (with advance notice). The family travels frequently to their home upstate (on weekends) and live-in would be required outside of NYC. Please note a driver s license is required for this position.
