Location: New York

Overview

A respectful, close-knit, and growing family in Woodside, CA is seeking an experienced, collaborative nanny to join a well-established nanny team in caring for their 3 children (ages 8, 6, and 2 years). This is a long-term opportunity for a professional who thrives in a staffed home, values teamwork, and is deeply invested in supporting children’s growth and development across all areas, not just meeting their daily needs.

The family is continuing to grow and is expecting their fourth child in late April 2026.

Household & Team Dynamic

This is a team-oriented household supported by a strong, collaborative culture. Nannies work closely together and alongside other household team members to support the family as a whole. While childcare is the primary focus, this is very much a “no silos” environment. Team members step in wherever is needed to keep the household running smoothly, whether that’s helping keep shared spaces tidy, supporting children with routines, or assisting with meal preparation for the children.

The family leads an active, health-focused lifestyle and values outdoor play, movement, and age-appropriate independence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for children of varying ages
  • Support morning, after-school, evening, and bedtime routines
  • Foster children’s emotional, social, and academic development
  • Communicate with children in a clear, respectful, age-appropriate way that supports emotional regulation and problem-solving
  • Help children work through frustration, conflict, and disappointment with guidance rather than avoidance or quick fixes
  • Encourage independence, responsibility, and follow-through in age-appropriate ways
  • Model kindness, patience, accountability, and respect in daily interactions
  • Plan and engage in enriching, educational, and active play
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children
  • Support homework and school-related needs as appropriate
  • Drive children to and from activities
  • Maintain routines, organization, and consistency both at home and while traveling
  • Collaborate closely with other nannies and household staff to ensure consistency and continuity
  • Support children in tidying up after themselves and caring for shared spaces
  • Provide overnight care and travel support as needed
Qualifications
  • Thrives in a team-based environment
  • Is calm, adaptable, and solution-oriented
  • Communicates clearly and thoughtfully with children, parents, and teammates
  • Values consistency, follow-through, and shared expectations
  • Is confident working with multiple age groups, including toddlers and school-aged children
  • Enjoys being an active, contributing member of a household
  • Understands that no job is too big or too small when supporting a family

Experience working in a fully staffed home and on a nanny team is highly valued. This position is best suited for someone who sees childcare as meaningful, long-term work and takes pride not only in what children do each day but in who they are becoming.

Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the US
  • Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience
  • Experience with infants through elementary-aged children
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Dog-friendly (light pet care as needed)
  • Fully vaccinated in accordance with applicable laws
Salary and Benefits
  • Starting at $52+/hr commensurate with experience
  • Once the family's full care team is in place, the nannies will operate on a 5/5/2/2 rotational schedule, working ~65-70 hours one week and ~25-30 hours the following week, typically with 12-14 hour work days with applicable overtime and double time. The family is happy to discuss the schedule in more detail during interviews. Flexibility for occasional schedule shifts due to travel is appreciated and communicated in advance.

The family is looking for a candidate who is able to be flexible around scheduling while they seek the final member of their ROTA team.

Benefits:

  • Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance fully covered for Employee + spouse and covered dependents
  • One Medical membership for employee + spouse and covered dependents
  • 401K with 3% employer contribution + up to 3% employer match
  • Continued Education reimbursement

Relocation assistance and/or housing support may be considered for the right candidate.
