AS674 - Nanny - US East Coast

Overview

A warm and inviting family is seeking a full-time live-in travel nanny to help care for their 9-month-old daughter. The family is currently located on Cape Cod, MA, but over the next 6 months they plan to spend an extended period of time in Switzerland, as well as in the Hudson Valley, and other locations. They have not yet chosen a home base, so they hope to find an amazing nanny who loves to travel who will accompany them while they spend time in various places and make their decision.

The general schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week guaranteed, with flexibility for additional hours and overnights as needed. The ideal candidate is experienced, trustworthy, has a level of sophisticated, adaptable, with a calm, warm presence, and the ability to integrate smoothly into their family life.

• All aspects of childcare, including sleep, feeding, and hygiene routines
• Baby laundry, and keeping the baby's areas tidy
• Plan fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities in various locations
• Maintain and help coordinate the baby's routine and day-to-day schedule
• Packing and keeping the baby's things organized during travel

• Familiar and comfortable with working long hours if needed
• Laid back and relaxed
• Warm and nurturing
• Clear communicator, able to work as a team with involved parents
• Childhood development knowledge

• Recent experience with infants of a similar age
• Fully available to travel domestically and internationally with the family for extended periods of time
• US work authorization
• Driver's license and clean record
• Scent-free - no fragrances, scented lotions, scented laundry detergent, perfumes, etc.
• Health and eco-conscious
• French speaking would be ideal but is NOT required

• $40/hr.+ DOE
