Daycare Assistant

Job Overview

We’re currently looking for a part‑time daycare assistant for our licensed home childcare program. The position will be available on Thursdays and Fridays, with a paid trial/shadowing day scheduled on Monday‑Wednesday. As enrollment grows, hours will expand to include Mondays‑Wednesdays.

• Care for children ages 2–13 (including 2 infants), with up to 6 children at a time.
• Light cooking, food preparation, and regular cleaning.
• Assist with curriculum and daily activities.
• Complete basic computer‑based forms (food program, timesheets, etc.).
• Help with administrative tasks as needed.
• Pick up children from after‑school programs.

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (occasionally starting at 7:00 AM).
• Work independently.
• CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
• Must pass fingerprinting and background checks upon hire.
