Overview
Little Giants Daycare (GFDC).
Position Title:
Child Care Teaching Assistant – 3K Program. Supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children enrolled in the 3K Program.
- Assist with lesson plans and classroom activities
- Supervise children at all times
- Support daily routines (meals, toileting, rest time, transitions)
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Promote positive behavior and social development
- Follow all GFDC and DOHMH regulations
- Responsible for planning and leading a structured and engaging after-school program that supports academic and social development
- Plan daily after-school activities and homework support
- Supervise children and ensure safety
- Maintain attendance and documentation
- Communicate with families
- Ensure compliance with licensing standards
- Set up and clean activity areas
Experience: Required
Languages: English – Advanced. Spanish – Advanced
Employment: Full-time
Schedule: 8:
Am to 5:30
Pm
Salary: from $17 hourly
Starting time: Immediate start!
