This is a truly special opportunity to become an integral part of an incredibly warm, thoughtful, and professional family based in the heart of Greenwich Village, New York.

The family are seeking a nurturing, proactive Nanny to care for their six-month-old son and to grow alongside them as a trusted and valued presence in their home.

Both parents are highly engaged and hands-on. The mother works part-time and is very present, while the father is equally involved in daily life with their son. They are looking for a Nanny who enjoys working in partnership with parents- someone confident in taking initiative, yet collaborative in approach, and genuinely invested in shared decision-making around care, routines, and development.

A strong emphasis is placed on early development, interaction, and flow. The ideal candidate will naturally engage a baby through conversation, play, movement, and exploration, creating a calm, responsive rhythm to the day. A background or deep interest in infant development is very welcome. Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the child will also form part of the role.

The family divide their time between New York and their home in the Hamptons, enjoying a balanced, home-centred lifestyle with occasional travel. Driving is not required in the city, though confidence driving in the Hamptons would be advantageous. The household is fully supported with a housekeeper at both residences, allowing the Nanny to focus fully on the child.

The live-in accommodation is exceptionally well set up, offering a private bedroom, bathroom, and separate entrance within a spacious apartment, ensuring everyone enjoys comfort, privacy, and a sense of ease.
