Job Title: Intern, Strategy, Planning and Analytics

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Location: New York, NY

Worksite Status: Hybrid (Position requires being on-site a minimum of three days per week)

Beam Living’s Internship Program is an 11-week immersive program where you will not only learn and grow in your respective field but also have the opportunity to be mentored by one of our teammates and participate in a weekly leadership development seminar. The program will begin on Monday, June 8, 2026 and end on Friday, August 7, 2026.

• Create and maintain financial reports and models to provide insight into asset and portfolio level performance.
• Ad-Hoc reporting for the Organization, Ownership and Investors; projects will be based on a wide-range of operational and financial data.
• Collect and maintain a database of market and property level research information through various online sources.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of presented data, analytical explanations, and conclusions.
• Produce analytical support across the organization, analyze a wide range of operational and financial data, both internal and external.
• Participate in a weekly leadership development program designed to develop talent by elevating the next generation of leaders through education, collaboration, and exposure to how each element of the organization functions.
• Meet with an assigned mentor on a bi-weekly basis to discuss job performance and future career goals.
• Collaborate with peers on a Capstone Project - over the course of the internship, interns will take on a real business challenge, build a capstone project around it, and present your innovative solution to leaders across the company.

• Rising College Senior currently completing a degree in Financial Analysis/Analytics/STEM or a related field.
• The ability to connect with others to keep the team aligned and focused.
• An analytical ability to collect and use information to solve complex problems.
• The discipline and willingness to do what needs to be done.
• A love for doing what others won’t and solving difficult problems.
• A desire to grow and take on ever increasing responsibility.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent writing / communication skills; ability to influence and communicate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to produce top quality deliverables, taking full responsibility and ownership; demonstrate proven track record of delivering results in a timely manner.
• Drive for continuous improvement and ability to change.
• Critical thinker who understands the big picture; ability to think outside the box to come up with creative solutions.
• Strong Excel, modeling skills; data visualization / programming a strong plus (Tableau/Power BI, SQL, VBA, R).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a multi-family environment is a plus.

Base Salary: $30.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience & location.
