The Data & Research business line comprises Capital IQ Solutions and core data assets, including Visible Alpha, After Market Research, deep industry and company data, and LLM capable offerings such as Pronto. You will be part of a fast moving, high output team that embodies S&P’s core values of Discovery, Partnership, and Integrity.

• Demonstrate mastery of Market Intelligence’s Market Research offering to help execute large scale new revenue opportunities
• Develop and execute on territory strategy for Market Intelligence’s Market Research offering(s)
• Support both commercial and product initiatives
• Execute outbound sales strategies through collaboration with Sales, Product, and Marketing counterparts
• Stay current with industry news to develop marketing initiatives and create client events to attract prospects

Anticipated base salary range is $102,387 to $127,857. Final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience, skills, training, licenses and certifications. • 5+ years of experience in product, commercial, or research roles
• Experience managing and growing business within complex organizations like SAAS
• Strong technical and negotiation skills to close complex deals
• Willingness to approach every problem as an entrepreneur with grit, creativity, and persistence
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Salesforce
• Strong communication, organization, presentation and negotiation skills
• Analytical capabilities in financial modeling and valuation analysis desirable
• Confidence in cold calling and dealing with C‑Level executives over the phone and in person

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, commerce or related subjects; CFA, MBA will be a plus
• Experience selling into the Investment Management, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity space
• Background in selling data analytical software platforms
