Commodity Manager

• Participate in cross‑functional teams to gather business requirements and select sources that demonstrate market segment leadership and increase value to our organization
• Create, maintain, and execute procurement commodity strategies for the assigned categories
• Improve quality and delivery by leading supplier selection and developing improvement plans through monitoring supplier performance regularly and leading key initiatives
• Develop, distribute, and analyze RFPs/RFQs and collect proposals to support competitive sourcing decisions
• Lead negotiations and assist with contract management
• Eliminate supply chain risk by addressing concerns and supporting internal stakeholders in the event of imminent supply risk
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function and across the supply chain
• Collaborate in Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG) initiatives that promote global synergy

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Proficient with MS Office applications and highly skilled in Excel
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Must be able to problem solve and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Demonstrated ability to lead commodity strategy development autonomously based on objective and subjective criteria

• CSPM or APICS certification is a plus
• Results oriented and strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level

• This is an in‑person role located at either our Greene, NY or Columbus, IN offices—ideal for those who thrive in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment
• Travel: up to 25‑30% (domestic and international)

Salary - $70,000 - $105,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
