Saige is hiring a Director to build and lead our Financial Services vertical, with primary emphasis on new logo acquisition and account expansion across US-based regional banks and insurance providers. This leader will own end-to-end pursuit execution (sales capture), shape AI and technology solutions, and sponsor early delivery to ensure measurable outcomes and long-term account growth. The role also requires exposure to fund services and asset servicing operating models to support adjacent segment expansion.
Whatyou will do Sales capture and pursuit leadership
- Own Financial Services pipeline, bookings, and forecast accuracy, including disciplined pipeline inspection and reporting.
- Lead pursuits end-to-end from qualification through close: discovery, solution shaping, proposal development, orals, pricing, negotiation, and close.
- Define win strategy and win themes for competitive pursuits; run pursuit governance and cadences, including internal reviews and approvals.
- Mobilize and lead cross-functional pursuit teams (SMEs, solution architects, delivery leaders, finance, legal) to produce polished, client‑ready proposals and presentations.
- Build a repeatable Financial Services GTM: target account lists, buyer maps, account plans, and partner motions.
- Land wedge offerings and expand into multi‑workstream programs across AI, data modernization, cloud, operating model, and modernization.
- Develop and maintain executive relationships with key buyers including CIO/CTO, CDO/Head of Data & AI, COO/Operations leadership, Risk/Compliance, and line leaders (e.g., Claims, Underwriting, Lending Ops).
- Serve as executive sponsor for new accounts and early engagements; ensure delivery quality, measurable outcomes, and strong references.
- Translate business problems into sequenced roadmaps with clear success measures (KPIs, financial impact, timeline, governance).
- Partner with delivery leadership to ensure staffing, scope control, and value realization.
- Build internal points of view and packaged offers for regional banking, insurance, and fund services, with outcome‑oriented narratives and reusable assets.
- Mentor client teams; contribute to firmwide growth strategy and IP development.
- 10+ years in consulting or professional services with a strong track record selling and delivering work in Financial Services.
- Demonstrated success winning new logos and expanding accounts with regional banks and/or insurance carriers, including complex services deals.
- Exposure to fund services/fund administration and the broader ecosystem (operations, data, reporting, and regulatory pressures).
- Strong executive presence; ability to influence senior stakeholders in regulated environments.
- Working knowledge of AI, analytics, data platforms, and modern cloud architectures, with ability to translate technology into business outcomes.
- Experience in risk/compliance analytics, fraud, underwriting/claims transformation, customer operations, finance transformation, and data modernization.
- Partner‑led selling experience and comfort with joint pursuits and co‑sell motions.
- Achieve agreed bookings and new logo targets with healthy pipeline coverage.
- Establish 2–3 repeatable Financial Services offers with supporting assets and proof points.
- Deliver referenceable early projects with measurable outcomes and clear expansion pathways.
- Build account plans for priority accounts and operate a consistent GTM cadence.
