Senior Sourcing Specialist

As the Service Hub for our branch network your main task is tosupport the corporate procurement function of London, New York branch or Continental Europe branches in their operational/ tactical tasks. Your main task will be the support of International Units with the focus on contract documentation, supplier checks and procurement related controls

We’re expanding our dynamic procurement team in Prague and looking for aSenior Procurement Specialist who combines strong sourcing expertise with acollaborative mindset, and astrong sense of compliance and accountability. We are seeking astrategic buyer tosupport our business partners across the European region, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes.

We’re looking for aresult-driven specialist tolead and manage sourcing strategies focused on services (e.g. Software, IT-services, facility management, HR, consulting, etc.) and goods.

You will independently conduct tenders in various categories, mostly IT-related, with large international suppliers. Together with our internal business units, you will always find the best solution for Commerzbank needs. You assess market and supplier information regarding innovations, risks, and ESG criteria for asupplier portfolio and develop appropriate category strategies and pricing models in the team.

In this strategic role, you will oversee the procurement of services and goods across various branches and departments, while ensuring alignment with the bank’s internal policies, procurement guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Together with you, we aim to transform Commerzbank's corporate procurement into smart procurement, establishing it as best in class. The adoption of new technologies within the bank, data-driven operations, and process automation play acrucial role in this initiative.

• Business administration degree or acomparable qualification
• Several years of professional/negotiation experience
• Strong Strategic sourcing skills
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, contract law, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
• Substantial experience working in amultinational or multi-site environment, ability towork across departments and locations in astructured and collaborative way
• A team player, proactive, integrity, and astructured approach toproblem-solving
• Strong interest in digital tools, automation, and new technologies
• Fluent English (speaking & writing);
  German is an advantage
