Overview

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for Kinect’s new client acquisition efforts by supporting the Business Development Manager and leadership team through pipeline management, opportunity coordination, proposal development, and operational execution. This role is critical to ensuring that new logo pursuits move efficiently from initial outreach through proposal submission by maintaining internal discipline, timelines, and quality standards. The Business Development Coordinator serves as the organizational bridge for Kinect’s business development function.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities to foster company growth
  • Maintain and update new business pipelines, target account lists, and pursuit trackers.
  • Coordinate follow-ups, meeting schedules, and next steps across active pursuits.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of client interactions, opportunity status, and milestones
  • Support reporting on pipeline health, activity levels, and conversion progress.
  • Response for the management of RFP, Proposal and Pitch Coordination
  • Support the development of RFI/RFP responses and pitch materials for new logo opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal teams to gather inputs, case studies, and credentials.
  • Manage timelines, version control, approvals, and final submission logistics.
  • Ensure proposals are complete, compliant, and aligned with Kinect’s standards and positioning.
  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new business development opportunities and potential clients
  • Conduct background research on prospective clients, therapeutic areas, and market dynamics.
  • Prepare briefing materials and account summaries to support BD Manager outreach and meetings.
  • Track competitive intelligence, client announcements, and industry trends relevant to pursuits.
  • Point of contact for client inquiries, providing information and directing them to the appropriate team members. Help establish and refine business development processes, templates, and tools.
  • Maintain proposal libraries, credential decks, and reusable content.
  • Identify opportunities to improve BD efficiency, organization, and consistency.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Liaison between business development, leadership, and delivery teams.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are aligned on priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Support post pitch debriefs and capture learnings to improve future pursuits.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and events with potential and existing clients
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure that business development strategies are aligned with overall company objectives
Leadership
  • Foster a culture of leadership, partnership, professionalism, innovation, integrity, accountability, and quality.
  • Develop and refine methodologies for the Business Development team
  • Drive thought leadership and contribute to the development of the organization.
  • Proactive problem solving by anticipating needs, identifies gaps, and takes initiative to keep pursuits moving forward.
Finance
  • Ensure alignment between labor allocation, resource management, and financial targets.
Requirements Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-6 years of experience in business development support, sales coordination, marketing operations, or professional services.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare marketing, or consulting environments preferred.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving priorities.
  • Clear, professional communicator who effectively coordinates across teams and levels of leadership.
  • Highly detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client and leadership meetings (25%)
