As a Business Analysis Manager at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. Following the historic closure of the Capital One and Discover merger, our new collective company faces an opportunity to establish a brand‑new working model around which Credit relationships should migrate to the proprietary Discover Network. We are building a new team to develop a cohesive strategy and drive forward a roadmap to migrate Capital One Credit volume to the Discover network.

• Work with teams across Capital One and Discover to understand their key needs and priorities.
• Establish a roadmap and prioritized set of opportunities for Discover to ‘win’ Capital One’s Credit business.
• Provide regular updates to Senior Leadership on progress.
• Strategic leadership: develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands.
• Leadership: manage and develop 1–2 analysts, coaching and mentoring associates to develop and retain talent at Capital One.
• Product: develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product‑level modeling/analytics.
• Execution: manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy; oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
• Strategic & analytic orientation: demonstrate a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
• Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity: bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business.
• Solid people leadership experience: build and leverage the capabilities of a high‑performing team and business partners across the enterprise.
• Strong executive communication skills: impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills.
• Clear results orientation: focus on achieving both short‑ and long‑term goals in an uncertain and fluid environment.
• Successful track record of thriving in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least 2 years of experience in analysis.

• Master’s Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services.
• 1+ year of experience in consulting.
• 2+ years of experience in people management.

Chicago, IL: $149,800 – $171,000 for Business Manager
New York, NY: $179,700 – $205,100 for Business Manager
Riverwoods, IL: $149,800 – $171,000 for Business Manager

Other locations: subject to the pay range associated with that location; actual annualized salary will be reflected in the offer letter.
