Description

Shopbop is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to drive strategic financial planning and business optimization initiatives across the organization. This role will focus on developing financial models, conducting business performance analysis, and providing data-driven insights to support key business decisions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining sophisticated financial models that drive strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

They will work closely with multiple business units and cross‑functional partners to optimize revenue opportunities, manage costs, and identify areas for business improvement. The role requires someone who can translate complex financial analyses into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track business performance and identify trends
• Partner with business leaders to develop revenue forecasts and expense budgets
• Build and maintain dashboards to monitor key business metrics and KPIs
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on business performance against plans
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI assessment
• Perform market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify business opportunities
