The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Principal Court Analyst in the Bronx County, Surrogate's Court Human Resources Unit. With substantial independence from supervision, Principal Court Analysts work individually or as team leaders on projects that involve research and confidential analysis, planning, and other related work,

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling all the Certification List and /or Reassignment Lists for vacancy and preparing letters for interviewees, acceptance, and notifications for employers.
• Troubleshooting all personnel issues with employees.
• Maintaining/notifying all employees of new procedures and protocols.
• Updating daily attendance in KRONOS.
• Performance and probationary evaluations.
• Budget assistance and preparation.
• Maintaining and reviewing contracts.
• Processing purchase orders electronically for approval from OCA for equipment/furniture/supplies as needed.
• Reviewing and confirming invoices.
• Processing all estate refunds.
• Maintaining spreadsheets of vendor’s billing and payment information.
• Receiving applications and conducting interviews.

Qualifications: One year in the Senior Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

A strong background in human resources administration is required, along with familiarity with OCA’s operational policies and key transactional systems such as SFS, People Soft, KRONOS, and UBS.
