Job DescriptionThe Security/Facilities unit is responsible for keeping the facility clean and ensuring proper functioning of all equipment while greeting and directing all members/visitors of the Fund.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Director of Security, the Receptionist will be responsible for managing the flow of members and visitors to ensure that unauthorized individuals do not gain access to the premises. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greeting all visitors with courtesy, professionalism and a welcoming demeanor
- Verify identification of all visitors and issue temporary visitor ’s using a computerized camera system
- Manage and maintain the front desk area ensuring that all visitors are promptly and properly assisted
- Maintain an accurate and up to date visitor log
- Answer and route incoming calls to appropriate units or personnel
- Monitor live security camera feeds
- Ensure and observe that all staff and visitors display valid identification while on-site
- Provide support during fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures as directed
- Immediately report safety concerns or suspicious behavior to the Director of Security
- Assist with special projects or additional tasks, as assigned by the Director of Security or the Chief of Staff

SalarySalary: The hiring rate being offered for this position is $47,000. The salary is non‑negotiable.
Minimum QualificationsA four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
- Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Maintains professional appearance and demonstrates appropriate social skills
