Overview

Our client in the houseware’s manufacturing industry is looking for an Allocation & Operations Analyst to support end-to-end supply chain execution and ensure the accurate, timely flow of merchandise from purchase order creation through final delivery. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity based in NYC, reporting directly to the SVP of Supply Chain. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in wholesale supply chain operations, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Review all Sales Orders for accuracy post-entry (quantities, case packs, units, etc.)
  • Execute and manage customer purchase order revisions
  • Partner with Sales, DC, and customers to resolve late or discrepant POs
  • Field and address internal and external inquiries related to purchase orders
  • Plan and execute Sales Order allocation releases based on inbound shipments and start ship dates
  • Monitor deliveries and proactively communicate exceptions to the DC team
  • Communicate and track DC projects (including relabeling initiatives) through completion
  • Manage routing for select accounts and oversee all prepaid routings
  • Address and resolve routing inquiries
  • Identify over-allocated or under-allocated inventory positions and recommend corrective action
  • Track inbound purchase orders and align timing with allocation plans
  • Partner with warehouse and 3PL teams to ensure efficient shipping and order fulfillment
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 1–3 years of Supply Chain experience
  • 2–5 years of wholesale experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required; experience with Access and data warehouse systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
