Transaction Advisor - Deal Manager at Wisable## Venture Studio – Portfolio New York Wisable, a tech-enabled business brokerage spun out of
D.
E. Shaw’s venture studio, seeks a transaction advisor to guide clients through the business sale process, from go-to-market through closing. This advisor will work directly with small business owners who want to exit, helping them identify the right buyer for their business and navigate each stage of the transaction.
This position is with Wisable, not the
D.
E. Shaw group. As a portfolio company of the
D.
E. Shaw group’s venture studio, DESCOvery, Wisable benefits from the firm’s industry expertise and network. Please note that Wisable will be reviewing all applications and making hiring decisions independently of the

E. Shaw group.## Who we’re looking for
* A bachelor’s degree or higher, along with an impressive record of academic and professional achievement.
* At least five years of experience, with a minimum of two years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
* Experience in SMB M&A is preferred.
* Excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust over time, especially with non-technical clients.
* A highly organized, proactive, and self-directed working style.
* The expected annual base salary for this position is $175,000 to $250,000. There will be variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus.
