Overview
As a Senior Strategist
, you’ll support strategy development and help bring to life effective and engaging experiences for a range of top-tier brands that have established partnership portfolios. You’ll collaborate closely with partnership consulting, creatives, designers, business leads, experiential production, and other disciplines within Momentum’s network to ensure strategy is thoughtfully reflected across initiatives and touchpoints.
You’ll contribute insights, strategic thinking and research to help shape consumer-led ideas, while continuing to build your point of view on the fast-evolving retail landscape, consumer behavior, and shopping experiences.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Creative to help shape and evaluate ideas, ensuring they are grounded in behavioral, cultural, and consumer insights
- Collaborate with Sponsorship Consulting to help align partnership roles with broader brand and portfolio strategy
- Support client teams in ensuring partnerships have a clear strategic fit with brand and business goals
- Assist in defining clear, measurable goals and KPIs for partnerships and programs
- Contribute to the development of partnership strategies, frameworks, and strategic POVs
- Support strategy development for assigned accounts, acting as a thoughtful brand steward
- Help align strategic recommendations with client business objectives
- Support the presentation and communication of creative ideas and strategic recommendations to clients
- Develop clear, compelling presentation materials using strategic frameworks and visual storytelling
- Assist in identifying client objectives, goals, KPIs, strategies, and tactics
- Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform strategic thinking
- Participate in new business efforts through research, insights, and presentation support
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional agency teams and foster a positive team environment
- Support and live Momentum’s values
- All other duties as required
- 3–5 years of experience in brand, experiential, or marketing strategy within an agency or consulting environment
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and writing skills
- Ability to manage work streams independently while collaborating closely with senior team members
- Strong curiosity about culture, consumers, and the role creativity plays in driving behavior
- Solid understanding of business fundamentals and client objectives
- Comfortable participating in strategic discussions with internal teams and clients
- Working knowledge of integrated marketing disciplines (e.g., research, segmentation, targeting)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving assignments
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
