The Opportunity
Adobe is driving strategic growth with global Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Sovereign Wealth (SWF) companies through a new go to market - Adobe Private Capital (APC). We are investing in high-calibre, experienced individuals with a background in managing large scale transformation programs with large corporates, or experience working within a PE firm as an Operating Partner.
What you'll do:- Lead and mentor a team of APC Account Directors, providing strategic guidance to drive value creation with PE, VC, and SWF firms Portfolios.
- Develop and implement the APC go-to-market strategy, aligning with Adobe's broader business objectives to increase revenue and impact across software, services, and support.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify priority Portfolio Companies and define value levers using Adobe's integrated technology stack, leveraging proprietary and external data.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with Operating Partners at PE, VC, and SWF firms, ensuring alignment and sponsorship for key initiatives.
- Oversee the development of joint governance models to ensure seamless execution and value realization across accounts.
- Drive adoption of Adobe products by guiding your team to develop compelling business cases that align with customer priorities.
- Partner with Adobe marketing and product teams to create engagement strategies, including events, executive briefings, and ideation workshops for PE firms.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive positioning, and Adobe's role in digital transformation to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the team, promoting a start-up mentality, resilience, and a passion for quality execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Adobe's business units to ensure consistent delivery of value to portfolio companies.
- Represent Adobe in high-stakes executive engagements, including company visits, strategy sessions, and industry events.
Successful engagement will be defined by short-term pipeline generation, medium term value creation for the PE firm through its portfolio, leading to long term retention and growth:
- Deep expertise in software and services business models, with the ability to structure and negotiate complex, multi-faceted agreements.
- Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills, with experience managing teams in highly matrixed organizations and fostering a sense of shared purpose.
- Proven success in driving enterprise engagements, either internally or through consulting, PE, VC, or SWF firms, with a focus on digital transformation and change management.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation trends, Adobe's technology stack, and competitive positioning in the industry.
- Experience developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for enterprise organizations, with a focus on revenue growth and client retention.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives, with outstanding executive presence and communication skills.
- Expertise in establishing multi-layered governance models that align business functions, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Creative, problem-solving mentality with a track record of addressing evolving business challenges.
- Analytical and a strategic outlook, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and prioritize initiatives.
- 10+ years of validated experience in PE, VC, SWF, Technology or Professional Services industries with a consistent track record of exceptional performance.
- 5+ years of management experience, ideally in a quota carrying or heavily KPI focused business unit.
- Experience managing high value clients with complex requirements.
- Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to converse with, encourage and engage C-level executives.
- Exceptional written communication and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $195,300 -- $345,650 annually. Pay within this…
