Wealth Partners Capital Group ("WPCG") is a West Palm Beach, Florida-based financial services holding company. WPCG was launched in June 2017 and currently has capital investments in six large wealth management firms.
WPCG’s mission, in partnership with these six firms, is to identify, value, negotiate with and acquire smaller firms and merge them into its partner firms.
Since its inception, WPCG has closed over 190 transactions on behalf of its partner firms, which have added approximately $110 billion to their assets under management ().
WPCG is seeking to hire a senior-level colleague to join our Tactical Operations team (”Tac Ops”). The person in this role will (1) work directly with the transition teams at WPCG partner firms and train them to integrate acquired wealth advisory firms onto their platforms, (2) spearhead the due diligence process related to acquisitions, and (3) coordinate M&A transaction processes and timelines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Overseeing all deal integrations led by WPCG partner firms, and communicating deal statuses internally, highlighting progress / achievements, risks and issues
- Constructing deal timelines and managing deadlines for all internal and external parties involved in the M&A process
- Tailoring due diligence request lists and overseeing the diligence review process, including but not limited to, analysis of selling firm’s revenue and billing practices
- Working closely with WPCG partner firm transition teams to smoothly integrate all aspects of the acquired business (clients, employees, operations, technology, etc.)
- Developing and maintaining acquisition project plans
- Collaborating with the WPCG Legal and Finance teams to ensure alignment across WPCG work streams and partner firm transition teams
- Training new WPCG partner firms on M&A processes
- Advising WPCG partner firms on a range of M&A-related marketing topics including deal related PR and website and social media updates
- Supporting Tac Ops with managing and executing on WPCG strategic initiatives, marketing and the evolving operational needs of the firm
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years experience in M&A or
- 5+ years experience in independent wealth management operations, working at an RIA Aggregator or Custodian
Skills include:
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong familiarity with RIA operations, reporting, technology and custodial platforms; compliance knowledge / background is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; must enjoy speaking in front of large audiences (in person and over video calls)
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, with excellent teamwork skills and minimal day-to-day oversight
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Position Requirements
- Based in West Palm Beach or New York City
- Compensation package ranges from $150-175k per year, commensurate with experience
