We are searching for an Account Manager
, an individual contributor role, responsible for driving growth with international merchants; offering our customers the best experience while working with EBANX. The role requires experience with enterprise merchant portfolios, delivering solutions, managing revenue targets, strong negotiation skills, autonomy, entrepreneurial spirit, engagement, and fast learning.
- Managing current large merchants with a focus on driving year-over-year revenue growth by executing strategic commercial growth plans.
- Developing and driving the pipeline of new products, market expansion, and checkout opportunities to increase volume and revenue within each merchant relationship.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships, act as the voice of the customer, learn merchants' product pain points and expansion plans, understand priorities and urgency, and communicate this across internal cross-functional teams.
- Maintain outstanding internal and external communication; respond to client demands, convey compelling value propositions, inform merchants of EBANX's product roadmap, and communicate sensitive news when needed.
- Monitor, measure, and propose strategies to continually improve merchant performance, payment method optimization, market penetration, and brand advancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, subject matter experts, operations, risk, legal, finance) to maximize merchant satisfaction and reference ability.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and EBANX business strategy.
- Report on sales pipeline progression in Salesforce; demonstrate high organization and discipline.
- Provide feedback to leadership on optimizing the sales cycle, enhancing sales channels, and improving corporate brand awareness.
- Act as a positive representative of the company and conduct all sales activities with professionalism.
- Report directly to the Global Leader of Merchant Success - Americas and Europe.
- Experience as Account Manager or Business Development with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Must have experience in payments and understanding of the merchant payment environment and needs.
- Analytical skills, high level of organization, attention to detail.
- Proven experience using Salesforce CRM to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and drive sales process discipline.
- Ability to translate CRM and data insights into actionable account or territory strategies.
- Self-starter who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced setting.
- Tenacious and resilient with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Confident, articulate, and professional communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management discipline.
- Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel (up to 30% of the time).
- Fluent English (testing will be conducted). A secondary language is a plus.
