Business Development Intern
Location: New York, NY
Position Type: Full-Time (February 2026–May 2026)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Standard Business Hours

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and personable Business Development Intern to join our team for a full-time internship from February through May 2026, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career in sales, business development, or client relations. The ideal candidate is confident, curious, and eager to learn how to generate new business and build lasting professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Support the business development and sales team with lead generation and outreach
- Research prospective clients, industries, and market opportunities
- Assist with outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to potential clients
- Help qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales staff
- Maintain and update CRM records with accurate prospect information
- Prepare basic reports on outreach activity and pipeline progress
- Participate in sales meetings and learn sales strategy, messaging, and negotiation fundamentals
- Provide general administrative and sales support as needed
- Strong interest in sales, business development, or entrepreneurship
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable speaking with new people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Comfortable taking initiative and learning through hands-on experience - Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (but not required)
- Real-world exposure to sales and business development
- Direct mentorship and hands-on training
- Opportunity to develop communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong potential for long-term growth and a permanent role after the internship
