The Marketplace Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing the performance, visibility, and profitability of , Inc.’s marketplace channels. This role supports the Marketplace, eCommerce, and Digital Marketing teams by delivering data-driven insights, monitoring marketplace health, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue across key third‑party platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets, dashboards, and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities Marketplace Performance & Analytics- Monitor daily performance across marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Door Dash, Walmart), tracking KPIs such as sales, conversion, traffic, pricing, profitability, and on‑time delivery.
- Analyze trends to identify growth opportunities and operational risks across brands and platforms.
- Build and maintain performance dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Conduct SKU‑level, brand‑level, and channel‑level performance deep dives to support merchandising and marketing decisions.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking across platforms (pricing, ratings, reviews, assortment, delivery fees, placement).
- Provide category insights to inform marketplace strategy and identify industry trends affecting floral, gourmet gifting, and perishable product categories.
- Track marketplace operational metrics such as cancellation rates, on‑time delivery, defect rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Alert cross‑functional teams to emerging risks or SLA compliance issues.
- Support root‑cause analysis for performance disruptions (e.g., fulfillment failures, listing suppress ions, algorithm changes).
- Support dynamic pricing analysis to maintain competitiveness while protecting margin across perishable and non‑perishable inventory.
- Evaluate fee structures, ad spend efficiency, and promotions to ensure healthy contribution profit.
- Assist with modeling financial impact for assortment or pricing changes.
- Partner with Marketplace Managers, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Digital Marketing to deliver insights that drive channel strategy.
- Prepare performance updates and insights for weekly business reviews, leadership meetings, and brand teams.
The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 – $95,000 annually. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.

Qualifications Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in marketplace, eCommerce, digital merchandising, or retail analytics.
- Hands‑on experience working with marketplace platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Door Dash, Instacart) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Ability to work with large datasets; knowledge of SQL or APIs is beneficial.
- Comfortable identifying trends, diagnosing issues, and turning data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, seasonal retail environment.
- Clear communicator who can present insights to both technical and non‑technical partners.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally across multiple brands and teams.
- Experience in floral, food, gifting, or other perishable product categories.
- Understanding of marketplace algorithms, search optimization, and fulfillment performance metrics.
- Background in A/B testing, profitability analysis, or promotional performance review.
