Position OverviewWe are recruiting analysts with investigative acumen to join an expanding strategic intelligence practice in New York. This role is ideal for professionals with 1-2 years of relevant experience who are ready to take on greater responsibility. You'll be integral to multidisciplinary teams executing sophisticated due diligence and commercial intelligence assignments. Your work will directly influence major investment decisions and strategic initiatives for the firm's prestigious client base.
Some experience with Lat Am region data sources is desirable.
In this role, you will:
- Execute in-depth qualitative research supporting high-value transaction analysis and commercial intelligence engagements
- Leverage open-source intelligence methodologies to evaluate regulatory environments, competitive landscapes, and commercial risks associated with investment targets and business counter parties
- Help design and implement intelligence collection frameworks tailored to complex client mandates
- Cultivate and leverage an external contact network to source and authenticate mission-critical information during active engagements
- Synthesize multifaceted research findings into actionable intelligence deliverables that inform C-suite and board-level decision-making
Essential qualifications include:
- Demonstrated investigative aptitude with creative problem-solving abilities and enthusiasm for comprehensive research projects
- Proven proficiency with US-focused open-source research platforms and OSINT methodologies (mandatory requirement); experience with Latin American data repositories is also highly valued
- Outstanding written and oral communication abilities, with proven capacity to distill complex subject matter into clear, persuasive narratives
- Sound analytical judgment and demonstrated ability to evaluate information credibility, identify material intelligence, and assess source reliability
- Superior organizational capabilities with established success managing multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining quality standards under deadline pressure
- Strong collaborative skills and comfort engaging diverse stakeholders, including external information sources
- Native-level English proficiency required
- Spanish language fluency is a significant plus
- Must possess US work authorization and be available to work locally in New York City
