About The Role

What You’ll Do

As a Consultant on our M&A, Activism & Governance team, you’ll be at the forefront of high-impact, fast-paced engagements—developing a deep understanding of each client’s business, market, and communications strategy across investor relations, public relations, and public affairs. You’ll take a hands-on role in integrated communications efforts, ensuring clarity and precision in deliverables, strategy, and execution. Whether it’s drafting stakeholder communications, crafting social content, refining investor materials, or engaging with media under strategic guidance, you’ll be a key player in helping clients navigate complex, high-stakes scenarios.

You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional experts—from legal and financial advisors to proxy specialists—to deliver thoughtful, well-rounded solutions.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor’s degree or completing a fifth-year master’s program with a graduation date between May 2025 – August 2026.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis as a full-time employee; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Major(s):
    Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Political Science, Economics, Graphic Design, and other related majors.
