Our Product Managers lead highly collaborative creative endeavors, bringing together stakeholders across engineering, design, data services, operations, and customer-facing teams to deliver tangible value. We’re looking for teammates who will help shape Justworks’ future and make a profound impact on our business. As a Product Manager, you’ll be working across complex spaces (Fintech, Healthcare, HR Tech - all with serious policy/regulatory environments).

That will require you to have a keen intuition for customer needs, risk management, and commercialization. Care is at the center of everything we do, and you’ll need to love talking with customers and engaging with our Customer Success, Sales and Marketing teams to make sure that care is coming through in every part of our customers’ experience. The Role / What You’ll Work On

The Lifecycle domain is responsible for underpinning the end-to-end experience of Justworks’ customers—ensuring that every interaction, from shopping to graduation, is frictionless, straightforward, and deeply trustworthy. We build and scale experiences and services that handle our increasing set of customers and their growing needs across more and more stratified work forces. We succeed when our customers discover and pick the right mix of Justworks products for their individual needs, receive best-in-class support to run their business confidently, and utilize comprehensive tools to manage their workforce.

Within Lifecycle, the Core Services Mission Team manages all company and member data of Justworks’ customers via a number of API endpoints with an emphasis on performance and stability. Core Services are the backbone of many Justworks products and features. As a Product Manager on Core Services, you’ll spend the majority of your time executing against well-defined problem sets. You’ll be in high learning mode, obsessing over the needs of our customers, soaking up how the Justworks Product team conducts its work and be expected to execute on all the basic skills of product management with active coaching from your manager.

As you gain a richer understanding of our customers and business model, you’ll be involved in increasingly complicated bodies of work.

Your Success Profile Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ownership for the products you build and an understanding of shipping services that can perform and scale with Justworks
  • Shape the strategy and roadmap for key Core Service components and articulate a compelling vision of business impact to stakeholders across the product and engineering organizations
  • Partner deeply with engineering to investigate and prioritize issues/bugs and develop technical knowledge with their guidance
  • Actively hone your knowledge of the PDLC, from discovery through delivery and iteration
  • Build strong relationships across teams by demonstrating curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to customer-centered partnership
  • Contribute to team problem-solving and actively support or facilitate team processes and ceremonies
  • Take on opportunities beyond core responsibilities to support product strategy and drive impact
