About the role:
We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive market expansion by identifying and executing growth opportunities through data-driven insights. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, develop executive-level strategies, and bridge strategy with execution. This New York-based, hybrid role requires expertise in product management, strategic analysis, and communication across global teams.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Open Table product and cross-functional leadership as well as external stakeholders (customer, prospects, partners) to identify and evaluate, influence and execute on growth opportunities, focusing on data-driven insights and delivering executive-ready content.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to structure and execute a range of analyses and develop executive-level recommendations, including but not limited to market sizing and opportunity analysis, benchmarking and positioning, build vs buy analyses, etc.
- Deep expertise in building and evangelizing compelling, data-driven business cases across diverse areas.
- Bridge the gap between strategy and execution - driving product definition, prioritization, execution and evangelization of strategic projects as needed. Act as quarterback across multiple cross-functional teams to drive forward strategic initiatives like international expansion or penetrating a new segment.
- Masterful communicator:
Support executive narratives that communicate the overall strategy and how we are executing against our strategy. - Establish frameworks, playbooks and tools for effectively managing horizontal projects across a matrixed organization and achieving goals.
- Ensure the team and broader org stays up-to-date on market and customer trends relevant to strategic initiatives, articulates implications for existing and future product roadmap and influences stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Experience
- 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
- Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple projects.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams.
- Business strategy or consulting experience
- Work from (almost) anywhere for up to 20 days per year
